Remnants of Auschwitz: The Witness and the Archive, is the third installment of the Homo Sacer series that today includes seven volumes. The subtitle: The Witness and the Archive, states the direction of the analysis in the book.
The book does not deal with genocide of the Jews and Roma, but questions the importance of these exterminations for the human condition in general. The research in the book is done around the categories: the witness and the archive.

The translation of the book is supported by Danish Arts Council
